The numbers rolled to determine how many points the player can move their checkers. For example, if you roll a 3 and a 4, you can move one checker three points and another checker four points, or you can choose to move one checker seven points.

A Special Rule

You can hit and reenter in the Backgammon game. Note that a blot is a point occupied by a checker. If you land on a blot, you hit their checker and send it to the bar. They must reenter the game by moving the checker from the bar to an open point in your home board.
